It would be easier to get blood out of a stone than to get a biography out of Guy.

He was born in Germany. At the age of 7 he heard "Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits" album and from that moment on all he wanted to be was a singer/songwriter.

Guy is a prolific songwriter & poet (I swear some of his words come out of the stratosphere). I have watched live music in St Louis, New York & Atlanta as well as the UK and his unique self taught acoustic guitar playing is the best I've seen in 40 years. He is still unknown to the UK public as he's spent 15 years bringing up a daughter as a single dad.

Since coming down literally off his mountain,

1. He has become Sir Bob Geldof's first choice support artist
2. Played as the only solo artist at the 2003 Vienna Jazz & Blues festival in Austria (Johnny Winter topped the bill)
3. Has toured with Bob Geldof, Jake Burns & Bruce Foxton (SLF & The Jam), Nick Welsh & Pauline Black (The Selecter), Lonnie Donegan (John Lennon's main early inspiration), Dave Sharpe(The Alarm), Jim Capaldi (including gig where Steve Winwood played 30 mins guitar in Jim's band). Steve insisted on buying a CD of Guy.
4. He has had numerous standing ovations as a support artist.
5. Dennis Locorriere (Dr. Hook) opened for him at a private Michael Eavis (Glasonbury) party.
